Bred Hunter targeting 7 DEX and 7 LCK for the highest single-target ranged damage in the game. Lobbed Shot ignores obstacles and finishes enemies from across the map. Treat as a Gen 3 target, not a starter, because the -1 CON and -2 SPD penalties are lethal on an unbred cat.

Set up the room
Comfort4Stimulation50+Higher Stimulation now lowers the chance the kitten inherits a parent birth defect, so push Stim on this fragile collar to protect the floor stats. Keep the breeding line as far from inbred as you can: inbreeding shrinks the Stimulation benefit and raises defect inheritance, and a defect on a glass cannon ends the run. Effect-bearing mutations only start appearing past 10 Mutation, so plan a longer chase if you want Eagle Eye rather than expecting it early.

1.1 reshapes how you build this collar. Ball of Spiders and Flea Shot no longer scale with DEX, so the old plan of stacking DEX as high as it would go pays back less than it used to. Hunter's Boon now fires once per turn instead of once per kill, which removes the chain-clear burst that defined the high-difficulty Hunter. Heavy Shot lost two damage, picked up a 50% miss chance, and costs an extra mana; Scattershot costs three more mana and its upgrade no longer spares allies. Lobbed Shot still ignores cover and Hunter is still the best long-range finisher in the cast, so the floor-stats-first approach holds: a base 3 CON Hunter is unplayable, while LCK still drives crit and proc rates across the kit. Build the survival floor first, then push the ceiling on LCK rather than DEX. Treat this as the A-tier finisher it now is, paired with a frontline that buys it the range it needs.
