Attribute damage scaling

damage = weapon_base
       x (1 + 0.05 x (attribute + flame_altar_bonus))

Every point of your weapon’s scaling attribute adds 5% damage. Flame Altar level 9 contributes +8 to each attribute, so the cap sits at 45 DEX + 8 = 53 on a level-45 ranger.
