First Galvanic Hymn Solution (Data-Altar of Sacred Analysis)

The First Galvanic Hymn is the verse-order riddle you recite at the Data-Altar of Sacred Analysis, found in a side room of the Electrodynamic Cenobium on Rykad Minoris during Chapter 1. The altar and the hymn are the same puzzle: the Data-Altar is the device, the hymn is what you speak into it. Pick three verses in the right order across three dialogue sets and a hidden wall opens onto a chest. Get one wrong and nothing breaks; the altar simply asks you to come back when you know the hymn.

The exact verse order

Recite the hymn by choosing one verse from each of the three dialogue sets, in order:

  • Verse 1 (the "Omnissiah" line in the first set): "...the Omnissiah, from whom the holy discharge springeth forth."
  • Verse 2 (the 5th option in the second set): "...the arcane key that closeth the circuit."
  • Verse 3 (the 4th option in the third set): "...the immortal Reason that hath created the spark."

Choose those three in that sequence and the recitation completes. A correct hymn opens a hidden wall in the room.

Pasqal cannot help here

If you brought entity:pasqal Pasqal, your Tech-priest companion, expecting him to feed you the answers, he cannot. The altar itself is the only source for the verses, and the dialogue makes that clear. The good news is that wrong picks carry no penalty. The altar resets the prompt and waits, so you can work through the options without fear of locking yourself out of the reward.

What the hidden wall holds

Reciting the hymn correctly opens a secret wall to a chest. Inside you find the Arc Rifle, a two-handed exotic ranged weapon that arcs and chains electrocution between targets, and the Pinpointing Visor, which adds +15% ranged crit chance against targets below 50% wounds. The chest also holds cargo goods.

The Arc Rifle rewards a ranged character who can position around clustered enemies, since the chain effect punishes tight enemy formations. The Pinpointing Visor pairs naturally with any high-Ballistic-Skill shooter who already focuses wounded targets, so slot it on whoever finishes kills in your party.

For the rest of the Rykad Minoris puzzles and every other gated chest in Chapter 1, the puzzle solutions hub lays out each one in order.
