Mewgenics Patch 1.0.20870: First Post-Launch Bugfix Sweep

Frame-pacing fix, the Arthur Metronome ban, and self-harm abilities switched to physical damage.

What Changed

  • Arthur banned from Split the Atom, We Are One, Become Entropy, and other Metronome variants.
  • All Arthur levels now grant 4 antidote pickups and 1 blessing.
  • Absorbent elite buff no longer triggers when the elite is off-map.
  • Itch, Lighten the Load, and Chonkwalk now deal physical damage instead of HP Loss.
  • Engine-level frame-pacing fix corrects art desync after jumps and may fix unrelated visual bugs.
  • Glowing Bone can no longer roll Smash; the existing Glowing Bone (Smash) crash is fixed.
  • Strength In Numbers applies the displayed stack count of damage instead of always 1.
  • Veiny set no longer triggers on non-damaging attacks, killing the Indigestion infinite-loop softlock.
  • Solo-cat runs count as mono-class for save completion percent (retroactive) and three item unlocks.
  • Space Helmet now blocks 30 percent, down from 100 percent.
  • Empty Vessels grant unfilled max health.
  • Animation slowdown per tile capped at 10.

Build Impact

  • Itch, Lighten the Load, and Chonkwalk now deal physical damage, so Butcher and other self-harm synergies finally fire as their tooltips imply.
  • The Veiny set fix removes the Indigestion infinite-loop softlock, making that interaction safe to build around.
  • Space Helmet dropping to 30 percent block reins in an over-tuned defensive item for frontline setups.
  • No stats, formulas, or collar balance changed, so no published build needs new numbers.
