Not a combat cat. Collarless is the default collar every kitten is born with, which makes it the cleanest vessel for passing genes across generations.
How to Breed
Pair the right parents
- Father
- complementary high-stat cat from a separate lineage to keep the kitten as far from inbred as possible
- Mother
- high CON / high LCK cat with the abilities and clean stats you want to preserve
Set up the room

In 1.1 higher Stimulation lowers the chance the kitten inherits a parent birth defect, which is the entire job of a clean carrier. That benefit shrinks the more inbred the kitten is, so a wide, separated lineage gets far more out of the Stim investment than a cousin pairing. Below 10 Mutation the carrier only picks up simple stat mutations, which pass down cleanly; effect mutations need a much higher Mutation stat and are not what this build is for.

Collarless applies zero stat modifiers and has no signature ability. That is the point. The role is generational: a clean-statted Collarless cat breeds forward without baking in a class penalty the next kitten inherits. Use it in generation two or three, once donor abilities and target mutations are locked, then reclass the offspring into a combat collar at the trainer. The 1.1 breeding rework changes how you protect the line. The Mutation stat no longer rerolls existing mutations or birth defects, so you cannot scrub a defect off a carrier after the fact; a defect now sticks and corrupts everything downstream of it. Keep the line as far from inbred as possible, since inbred kittens inherit parent defects at a much higher rate. Voice inheritance dropped to 75%, so a carrier no longer reliably passes a parent's voice forward; plan for the trait to drop rather than counting on it.
