Crimson Desert Patch 1.00.02: Day-One Bear Nerf and Tenebrum Fix
Bear damage rebalanced, Tenebrum puzzle replay loop fixed, new finishers for all three characters.
v1.00.02By BrokenBuilds WikiUpdated
What Changed
- Bear instant-kill removed and overall bear damage lowered.
- Reed Devil and other early bosses received damage cuts.
- QTE difficulty when grappled now scales with repeated captures rather than punishing every grab equally.
- New finisher: Kliff Flurry of Blows now ends with a finishing blow.
- New follow-ups: Damiane greatsword stab and uppercut, Oongka dual-wield stab.
- Skills menu reorganized by weapon type with rewritten descriptions.
- New Chapter 3 tutorial quest teaches Abyss Gear mechanics.
- Tenebrum boss fight no longer replays the puzzle section after dying mid-battle.
- Bosses can no longer attack the player during revive animations.
- Recently viewed cutscenes can be skipped faster.
Build Impact
- Bear damage cut shifts early-game pelt farming from a coin flip into a normal hunt. Builds running low-defense glass cannons (Damiane especially) gain a real survival window.
- Kliff Flurry of Blows finisher adds a fixed damage tail to the combo, raising single-target burst on a skill that was already part of the standard Kliff opener.
- Damiane greatsword follow-ups extend her stab and uppercut into longer chains, which matters for the rapier-pistol burst playstyle that wants to stick on a target between weapon swaps.
- Oongka dual-wield stab follow-up gives the bruiser archetype a usable poke option between his slow heavy swings.
- No weapon stat values changed, so the existing weapons tier list still holds.
