ARC Raiders Quest List (In Order, With Rewards)

By BrokenBuilds Wiki9 min readUpdated

TL;DR

ARC Raiders has roughly 100 quests, called commissions, and every one of them comes from the five traders in Speranza: Shani, Celeste, Tian Wen, Apollo, and Lance. You unlock them in waves, but once a commission is available you can finish it in any order. Nothing is missable. The list below is current as of Riven Tides (update 1.26.0), grouped the way the game actually hands the work out: by trader, in unlock order. We have flagged exactly which quests pay real currency, because almost none of them do.

How quests work in ARC Raiders

Quests are commissions you pick up from a trader, complete on a run, and turn in for a reward. You start with a handful from Shani. Clearing those opens more of her board and unlocks the other four traders one at a time. From there the questline branches across all five, and the order you tackle the unlocked ones is yours to set. We want to be blunt about this because a lot of "in order" lists imply a strict 1-through-100 path that does not exist. The game lists commissions in non-chronological order, and finishing them in any sequence has no effect on your save.

The other rule worth knowing before you grind: most quests pay in gear, materials, and cosmetics, not coins. If you came here expecting a clean Raider Coin payout per quest, that is not how the economy works. Four commissions in the entire list hand over flat currency. The rest give you weapons, attachments, shields, healing, crafting components, or outfit colors. We cover the currency exceptions explicitly below so you do not waste a run chasing coins that were never on the table.

Each trader pays for something different

The fastest way to plan your grind is to pick the trader whose rewards you actually want, then work their board.

Shani runs the largest share of commissions and the early on-ramp. Her rewards skew toward gear, weapons, keys, ammo, defibrillators, and cosmetics. If you are new, you are doing Shani's quests first whether you planned to or not.

Tian Wen is Speranza's gun craftsman. His board is the one to farm for weapons, weapon attachments, and blueprints. Magazines, muzzles, grips, and stocks come from him.

Celeste rebuilt the city and her quests reflect a tech focus. Expect crafting materials, mechanical and electrical components, and blueprints. This is your component pipeline if you are crafting your own kit.

Lance runs the medical bay. His rewards are healing items, shields, defibrillators, and Tactical augments. Farm Lance if your loadout leans toward survivability.

Apollo leans into grenades, traps, collectibles, and outfit cosmetics. His board is where the throwables come from.

The opening quests (Shani's on-ramp)

These are the first commissions every Raider sees, and they double as a clean tutorial for the loop. Objectives are short and most can be done on any map.

QuestTraderReward
Picking Up The PiecesShani1x Rattler III, 80x Medium Ammo
Trash Into TreasureShani1x Tactical Mk. 1, 3x Adrenaline Shot
Clearer SkiesShaniBlack (Hiker Color), 1x Light Shield, 3x Sterilized Bandage
Off The RadarShaniBlack White (Origin Color), 2x Defibrillator
A Bad FeelingCeleste5x Duct Tape, 5x Steel Spring, 10x Metal Parts
Hatch RepairsShani1x Binoculars, 1x Raider Hatch Key
The Right ToolTian WenCheer Emote, 1x Extended Light Mag I, 1x Stitcher II
Down To EarthShani1x Combat Mk. 1, 1x Medium Shield

Picking Up The Pieces just wants three containers grabbed at any POI, and it pays a item:rattler plus 80 Medium Ammo, which is a real starter weapon and not a token reward. A Bad Feeling is your first Celeste commission and the moment the component economy opens up. The Right Tool is Tian Wen's first board, so finishing it is what gets you onto the attachment pipeline.

The four quests that actually pay currency

Out of the full list, these are the only commissions that reward flat coins or Raider Tokens. Everything else is items.

A Dead EndShaniThe Blue Gate2000x Coins (plus Patchwork Warden Color)
Bombing RunShaniAny30x Raider Tokens (plus Finger Gun emote)

A Dead End is the single biggest flat payout at 2000 Coins, and it requires a Dusty Film Reel to turn in. The Root Of The Matter needs an Experimental Seed Sample. Plan those turn-in items before you head into the run, because both quests are map-locked and you do not want to clear the objective only to realize you skipped the required handover. The extraction mechanics guide covers how to carry those handover items out clean.

Map-locked quests and the season chain

Many later commissions can only be completed on a specific map: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, The Blue Gate, Stella Montis, or Riven Tides. The early Shani quests are mostly marked "Any," so you can knock them out wherever you land. As you move deeper, the location column starts dictating your route, and two short branch chains gate themselves behind specific maps: the Blue Gate questline and the Stella Montis questline each run three commissions on their home map.

Quests arrive in seasonal waves. The chain runs from the launch set through North Line, Cold Snap, Headwinds, Shrouded Sky, Flashpoint, and now Riven Tides, with the six newest commissions belonging to Riven Tides itself. The count climbs every season, so the number you see today is the floor, not the ceiling.

What to do with the rewards

The weapons these quests hand over are not filler. Early commissions drop a item:rattler, a item:vulcano, an item:anvil, a item:burletta, and an item:aphelion, among others, and where each of those lands in the current meta decides whether it is worth slotting or scrapping for parts. Cross-check each against the weapon tier list before you commit a stash slot to it. The augments you earn, item:tactical-mk1 through 3, item:combat-mk1, and item:looting-mk2, set the spine of any loadout, since the augment locks your shield compatibility, weight ceiling, and quick-use slots; the augment tier list ranks which one to build around. The shields you pull from Clearer Skies, Down To Earth, and Prescriptions Of The Past give you a item:light-shield, item:medium-shield, and item:heavy-shield option to test against your augment of choice. Grind the trader whose rewards fit the build you are running, turn the loot straight into a loadout like the

squad anchor, and let the quests fund the kit instead of the other way around.
